every hp estimator I've ever used says my car makes about 50-60 hp more than my car actually does best et and mph in sig @ race weight of 3640lbs
That is a great time for that low of power and wieght. The only way I can explain that one is that you make more power moving down that track then sitting in a dyno room. Slight ram air effect, air density, and belt slippage all pay havoc. Plus scales at the tracks can be off. I've seen them be off by 100lbs before. So if you are making 15hp more and weigh 100#s less the math would be dead on. These formulas are just estimaters however. Based on physics but there are a lot of variables. Just wanted to give everyone here another tool to use.
