How do you know is a Trooper?

Was driving in I 5 (OR),saw a brand new grey Charger standing on the side of the highway.No sign on the car and plate was normal.
The only strobe light was coming from the back lighting system(brake light etc) and the front lighting.
How do you know is a police officer?
Can you drive to the next exit where there is someone?
And some light ? (at night)

If you reasonably feel like it is not a policeofficer attempting to stop you, you could slowly drive to a well lit place that has people at it. I would suggest turning on your dome light, and calling the police on your cell phone to tell them what you are doing.
