Finished mine last night. Only took about 1.5 hours from start to finish and cost a ~$3 in Grade 8 bolts, lock washers and nylock nuts. I already had a piece of 1/8" x 3" flat bar ~9" long so I cut it in half, dog earred two corners so it would set flat, drilled four holes and VIOLA! Of course my welds don't look quite that good as in the picture.;-)

And to think Steeda wants $25 for that.:kaboom:

No pics. Roads have been wet around here. It's not so much as a handling improvemnet as a piece of the anti-hop puzzle.

William Mathis recommended this be done on teh IRS assemblies to help locate the back sectionand to keep it from flexing. After looking at the assembly, it makes sense.

In perpetual exile....
Looks good to me. Now get some paint on that thing before it rusts up and looks like hell.

That is something I plan to do for both my '03 and my brother's '99. As far as the Steeda price on it, I suppose it is worth it for some since they (A)Have no welding/metalworking experience & (B)Have no welder or other necessary tools.
