How many of you have uneven or crooked exhausts?

Hey whats up guys,
Was just wondering if some of you guys have exhaust pipes that arent perfectly strait when you look from the back. My left pipe sits a little higher than the right side. I bought the car like this and its bugging the hell out of me. What should I do to remedy this? Mess with the hangers?

I hate when that happens, it makes me want to punch babies.... I'm adjusting mine all the time because of it.

Just loosen it up where it meets the H/Xpipe, and you can tweak it to however you want it.

Yeah I did that when I put my X pipe on. It was better than it was when I 1st bought the car but its still slightlyy off. It really gets me mad as hell. I see soo many pics on here with ppls exhausts that are perfect hhaha I dont get it...

magnaflow has issue with that,

My driver side pipe looks lower, tips are centered and adjusted properly....

It's like the hangers are messed up.

my mac did that.. took it to a great shop here local, $20 bucks later it's looking pretty much spot on.. took a little tough love and some welding..

the key is you get a piece of wood and put it on a jack and jack it up til it touches the pipes. jack it up til they are even(do it slowly). than you tighten the c/b bolts to the mid pipe. if your car is lowered it may not work but mine isn't.

When I bought mine it had a Mac c/b already on it and I thought it was backed into something, now I know.

Mine were crooked but when I had the Magnaflows welded in they straightened everything out. I agree its very annoying.

just the way it is.. aftermarket applications are never a perfect fit.

I thought it was just me. I have magnaflow as well. I hope I don't have to get anything welded.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys. Glad to know I am not the only one. I have a Bassini X and Mac the rest of the way. Im going to mess with it and let you guys know what happens. Any other advice out there?

Mine were perfect when I got it and it was one of the first things I looked at. Asked for a pic of the exhaust specifically. I'd take it to a shop and have them weld it in perfectly like S.V.T. did. Just my .02

magnaflow sucked. My BORLA took a bit of adjustment because you can adjust it at 2 points. Got it perfect. got the tape measure out lol

04sleeper, even your's isnt perfect....the passenger side tip is lower..there is more gap on that side than the other:rolling:

I have the stinger's too and mine is the exact same way...with a few different spots to adjust it at it's alot of work to get it to sit right.

but his pipes are very leveled and thats the part thats more visible.
