So on Sunday I'm going to look at a Cobra for sale. I'm 60 years old. Am I crazy?

I don't want to go fast in it necessarily, just want to own one, ya' know?

That wouldn't be crazy at all! Hey, 98.625% of corvettes are owned by people in your age bracket, more power to ya for going against the grain!

I'm 68 and I do just fine in my Cobra. No heart attacks here, although some of the 9 and 10 sec. diesel trucks I help build and drive scare me.

Do what ever makes you happy, I think its great!!

My dad and I just put a 6.1 Hemi out of a newer SRT8 in his 68 Charger, he's 63. We drove it for the first time about a week ago, and I had a big smile on my face riding in the passenger seat while he burned the tires off from a stop light.

Stock clutch in a Terminator is the stiffest clutch man ever created, so be prepared. I'm joking (hopefully) but it's a beast. Something like a twin disk will fix that, or you could even go hydraulic conversion. But I would say that's what keeps most older guys away from them and in a vette. Do a 2.3 blower and start rolling up vettes.

Stock terminator clutch is not stiff at all.

I'm 68 and purchased my Cobra new. I track my car twice a year and pass a lot of young guys out there. As long as your healthy and feel good enjoy, nothing like driving my Cobra to put a smile on my face.

Can't really speak..I'm 28, but I guess you're never too old for that kind of thing. I'll probably own a Terminator until I die, been having mine since I'm 25 and I don't think I ever sell this thing it's such a rush when driving it.

Whatever person who sit in my car and push the clutch did not ever tried a clutch that hard. I don't think it's the hardest out there but easily in the top for sure. But again all these peeps drove Hydro clutchs.

No way man that's awesome. If you enjoy cars and want one get it. My dad is 57 and has 03 Mach 1 with fully built 03 cobra swap under the hood. I have yet to beat him in a race in my 03 cobra. Haha

Do it.

My dad was born in 42'. I remember when the Terminators first came out he spotted a Mystichrome and said hed like to have one some day. He never did, but the point is it caught his eye.

Viagra on wheels!!
