had my car out to the track yesterday and made 5 runs. on the last run i was racing my buddies pullied/chipped 03. i decided to get the nittos nice and hot, but when i engaged the clutch to do a burnout the car revved but the wheels did not spin at all. funny thing about it is i had no idea, i only found out from the people watching after the run. from in the car everything seemed normal. obviously the clutch slipped big time, so i am wondering if this has ever happened to anybody else, and how much longer did the clutch last. my car only has 2200 miles and everthing now seems fine after cooldown. btw the runs were not back to back, they were over a course of 3 hours.
how much longer for this clutch?

It is preety common. It happens when you don't get the tires wet enough in the burnout area..If you didn't notice it and went down the track? Then it was not that bad..

thanks, that was what i was hoping to hear, i don't want to spend cash on a clutch right now.
