depends on how much boost, what heads are they (185,205 etc.), tune obviously.

with the stock block, i would not go past 450hp. Maybe even 400hp. Just depends

on how big the turbo is and what the tune is.

I wouldn't expect any reliability over 500 hp at the crank. Some stock blocks will fail before and a lot do beyond that point. Maybe w/ a main stud girdle like DSS sells and a lifter valley support you could safely get 600 at the crank.

If you are going to spend the money on the forged internals, turbo, and tune, just get a stronger block too. My sportsman block and internals are guaranteed to 1000hp by the builder. Wouldn't think you'd need more than that.

If you want the stock block, make sure you get a race main girdle for protection. Also, what compression ratio are we talking about?

Stock block, I wouldnt go past 450 at the crank.

i did around 475rwhp on a stock shortblock. No issues until it detonated. I have a buddy who is making about 420ish and he daily drives it and beats on it everyday.

My father's 5.0 had roughly 500 hp and it lasted about 50K on the stock block, then BOOM. I think it was running 9 psi w/ the A trim when #7 and #8 died.
