I am looking at a 93 that looks to be VERY original, but I want to make sure the original drive train is in tact. Can anyone tell me where to look and if it will be the VIN number that I use to confirm that it was the original block? What about the tranny?

Also, any other issues I should look for or be concerned with?

Thanks for any help!

I have found the partial vin of my car on a pad at the top rear of the block on my 93R. I honestly don't think you're going to be able to read it unless the intake is off though.
