Programming a Personal Entry Code:

1. Enter the factory set code.

2. Within 5 seconds press the 1 - 2 on the keypad.

3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered within five seconds of each other.

4. The doors will again lock then unlock to confirm that your personal keycode has been programmed to the module.

Hope this helps.

I bought one of those.. put it under the door handle, thought it looked better there..

just remember, unlike the factory ones, that won't unlock the car if it's already running..

This is how to change the key code, not how to program the keypad.

Depends what vehicle it is on. But on most you basically cycle the key just like you are programming the remote.

1. Insert key in the ignition

2. Turn key from OFF to RUN (don't start ), most fords are 8 times withing 10 seconds.

3. Within 10 seconds push button on first remote

4. Do same if you have the second remote

5. Within 10 seconds of doing 3 and 4, press the 7/8 and 9/0 on the keypad.
The system will chime once to confirm that the keypad has been programmed.

If you don't program the remotes with keypad, then remotes will not work. So you have to do them at the same time.

If he does not know the code for the keypad, then he is SOL..Won't do him any good without it.

Hope this helps :)
