Title is self explanatory. I'm driving a few hours to pick up a used kb2.1 kit on friday but how can i verify its the 2.1 and not the older 1.5? Online pics all look the same to me.

Should be a serial number stamped in an aluminum ring around the blower. Ask the guy to send it to you, and call it into KB. They can tell you what the blower is.
