how to remove my air silencer

i have 03 cobra how do i remove the air silener, is it worth it???

Yes its worth it. But it is better to buy a CAI unless funds are unavailable. Simply disconnect the strap around the air box, remove the 8mm bolt to the fender, pull up on the airbox to remove, and yank out that silencer! Throw in a K&N while youre at it!

Is there any danger to yanking the air silencer? Any down side?

Just give it a few good yanks and its out :-D I noticed a difference Id say its worth it plus you can hear the blower better :burnout:

I put in a K & N air charger, but I didn`t remove the air silencer. To be honest I am not sure what to pull out , the only thing there looked like a wiring harness. MadGreek did you find a pic of it, and have you done yours thanks
