Hydroboost pressure lines

I am installing a new hydroboost unit. Thanks to the post on the valve cover removal, that helped alot. My question is on the ps pressure lines that connect to the hydroboost. One of the lines uses a teflon seal and I found lots of information in the forums on that part number. The other pressure line connects to a block on the side of the unit. That line does not use the teflon seal on the threads, but has a small black ring that goes directly on the flare part of the line. I am not sure if that black item was originally an o-ring and has been distorted by the pressure. It appears to be a very stiff plastic material.

I got that wrong. The hose with the teflon seal is one that goes on the block on the side and the hose with o-ring is the one near the top. I think I can use an o-ring for a russell 648080.
