I am noticing something weird here...

Ok so people are starting to post their times up again. My truck just seems that it isn't launching good enough, but my 60 foot times are just as good if not better. Here's an example to help you understand.

I just don't get it, my truck is losing 3-5 tenths of a second in between the launch and 1/8 mile. But it still is getting up to a good end trap speed? What could be the problem it runs good and strong down the whole track? :shrug:

is torque reduction on? if not can you datalog your timing all the way down the track?

Ok I will data log it, was planning on doing that anyways. Should the torque reduction be on or off?

depends who you ask... i run mine off with my ftvb. just from shutting the reduction off i dropped almost .2 in the 1/4 because it was pulling the timing to 6 degrees from 16. now the timing stays pretty solid.

Tires, burn out, tuner would be my guess. Also air quality (that sounds bad) elevation. I can shave off 3 to 4 10th's just by going to PHX and getting 1000 feet closer to sea level, no tune change nothing different other than the air.
