I'm trying to pull the upper pulley off my 2.3 KB to install a 2.5" one. I have the special wrench tool and all but I can't get the thing to break loose. Just to make sure, it is left hand threaded right? Any other tips on how to break it loose?

Yes it is normal threads and you will need a good size 1/2" breaker bar and some big balls. I was in the same boat about a month ago I tried with a 3/8" and 1/2" ratchet and could not break it loose so I asked the same question about the threads. I ended up using my 1/2" breaker bar and actually thought I snapped the bolt when it broke loose but it was okay. The torque spec is 75 ftlbs so it is super tight. Good luck

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll have to cut a piece of pipe I have to use for a breaker bar, then we'll see what happens. Good point on torquing it to 50lbs, that will definitely help with getting it off later.
