I have heard that red stripes add about 15 or so horsepower.
While filming this rather fantastic cosmetic upgrade, it is in my professional opinion that we test the possible mechanical influences it may have had on the vehicle as well.

Sweet...now get some red letters for the back bumper to fill in where it says mustang and you'll be set.
Looks sick! the only thing id do different is get a cobra 03/04 truck wing for it instead of tyhe mach and maybe the front bumper as well

The cosmetic upgrades may have indeed altered the performance capabilities of the vehicle. I propose that we conduct several carefully controlled tests against the test control subject, your Z06. I will ride co-pilot in the Z06 and record test data in the form of digital video. After a careful review of the test output data we will be able to draw a reasonably accurate conclusion as to just how those cosmetic upgrades affected the vehicle's performance, most notably, in the envelope of acceleration.

That looks awesome. We so need better pics of that. I am sure you got the idea from the GT500 that has that combo but just so you young whipper-snappers don't think you invented that, we did that to a black 1983 GT......in 1983. There was no GT500 to judge what it would look like. It was black with flat black stripe down the hood and I believe like a silver dual stripe in the molding.
We painted the stripe red and put the dual molding stripe in red and the GT stickers. It had porno-red interior, which everyone made fun of then but now think is cool....dunno??????? :shrug:
