I remember researching these 10+ years ago. My first Saleen (1989-09) had a Saleens sport truck serialplate above the shifter that had a deep "X" scrached in it. Liz Saleen told me on early run cars, the would run short on serial plates and use what they had lying around. She send me a bunch of copied info on the Saleen sport truck. Kinda weird, but still a part of Saleen history....
