A N/A 3 Valve 4.6. I haven't heard hp numbers but heard it makes about 70 more rwtq than the current 2 Valve.

I dont know how 3 valves are possible but like jacob said, there are some cars that have 5 valves, ferrari is a good example.

From what I'v heard about the 3 valve is its going to be pushing around 300 horse. Sounds reasonable enough to me.

Do any of you guys remember the Ford Tremor? It was a hot-rod Explorer a few years back.

It had a 5-valve 4.6 that made 380-400 horspower naturally aspiriated. Where are those heads?

I'd like to see a few extra valves; just helps the breathing.

Mercedes is doing quite well with three valves. Some time ago I read that Ford was contesting Mercedes use of the three valve engine as it (Ford) had invested in its development. If anybody knows the story, I'd like to hear what happened.
