I got tired of waiting on a Shelby.
$55,000 Corvette for $45,000 sounded better than $55,000 for a $45,000 car.
08 Vette LS3 438 HP for now;-)

I've been thinking of doing the same thing...Hmm.

Nice, very nice. Still not a Mustang but nice. My Dad, who is a corvette guy keeps telling me, "but anyone can get a vett." I'm still on the fence.

Awesome car. I thought about doing the same thing and I might buy one of these as well. Where did you get the car for $10,000 off MSRP?

Good call. I'm biased but the 08 Vette is better in nearly every measureable way - except no back seats. Is it Z51?

The folks at corvetteforum.com will give you some good mod advice.

Congrats!

I would have opted for the new M3 if I was gonna drop that kinda cash. Nice car though

Although I love the new M3, that car is going to base in the $55-59k range. After a few options the new M3 will easily be topping over $60k.

Dave there are also magazine rumors that base price will be $62K. I am wait listed for a '09/10 M3 Sedan. If base price if over $60K I might have to pass on it and lease a 335I sedan or even consider the Lexus IS-F. But the M3 does looks sweet.:)
