The rear has been groaning for a little while, and I figured it was about time to rebuild. Its stock with 4:10's.

Today, whenever I downshifted, the rear of the car moved to the left. What do you guys think - is it still safe to drive it, or is it going to leave me on the side of the road somewhere?

Lower control arm bushings.

Safe if you take it easy for a little while. Shouldn't leave you unless the bolt breaks. Then it becomes unsafe pretty quick. lol

If it is what I think it is (Bushing) it can sound like the rear is groaning.

Wow, that might be good news then. It is groaning all of the time, whenever the car is rolling. I just figured it was the carrier bearing or differential. Sounds like I might get off cheap!

Is this something I could see if I stick my head under there?
