So I came across a SB Lightning today on the Turnpike in my car and it sounded incredible. I asked him his exhaust setup and he said he had LT's catted mids and a silver bullet. So after hearing it, I am hooked. I have read some things about the OBX systems.

Would you say that the OBX system is better than the Pacesetter? I mean it is stainless steel after all.

I found them on ebay, by the looks of this picture, wont this system bolt right up to my Bassani SS catback?

It certainly is cheap enough...

Also do I need O2 extenders?

Extenders yes...Better then Pacestter...Yes!!! If you like the sound get them as far as hp they are all about the same. I would get ceramic headers are a must. In the long run ceramic will last longer, look better and stay cooler.

i dont really see a need for ceramic coated as long as they're stainless.
these headers should last a long time before they become leaky
i bought that set of OBXes, im just waiting to put them on.

Well, ceramic stays cooler and disapates the heat better=more hp's. After time the ss becomes very hot and change from stainless to burnt...very burnt. I took my ceramic headers off during a rebuild and I swear them things looked exactly the same as when I put them on. LMAO

Ok cool, are there any other headers that have a similar quality as an OBX system? I am seeing that Kooks and Dynatech are the upper quality/price level

Yea they are pretty damn expensive. I thought Cannon was making exhaust, JLP carries the COMP R exhaust, which is pretty damn expensive.

With the OBX LT setup, do they come with highflow cats? Or is it straight through catless?
