IAC valve :(

Motorcraft no longer makes it and I can't find one anywhere, anyone use the "Standard motor products" one? I tried a wells one and it didn't work.. For the 98 cobra btw.

I got my replacement from Advance Auto, and it works great.

i got mine from oreilly auto parts. it was a borg warner and its doing just fine

Not going to help if the actual IAC doesn't work.

Mine wasn't working (idle was at 2200 everytime I'd come to a stop. If I let out of the gas the car would go to 2200 and keeping going forward), made the plate have had none of those issues at all ever again. In theory I also figured it wouldn't work due to the IAC already going out; but it worked. Same as on my friend's Mach 1.

I have an extra Motorcraft IAC off my 97 Cobra I could sell you. It's has about 35K original miles on it. Perfect working condition. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

the borg warner works fine for me.... 2 years old now... if you have a chance to buy an original one^ just do that

I bought up a box of near min take offs from a yard.
No way I am putting a $25 ching chong nip nong IAC on my car...
