hey guys what is the black box that sits behind the passanger front fendor right infront of the door?

thanx i was deleting smog and egr and i followed one of the tubes and it goes all the way up to whatever that box is

it's an evap canister i believe. should have a few vacuum lines hooked up to it?

sorry but does the evap canister do? yea i have a bad vacuum leak coming from it
