Idle ?

what should the idle be on these cara?I just put long tubes,o-r-x pipe and cai with a tube k member and I think it addes more vibra. than it should just from the low idle.when I look at options on my SCT ,it has a check by 600 or 650.if I change it when I then load the tune it idles to 300rpm ,has no throttle response then dies.if I load the tune and hit default setting if runs fine but has low idle when warm.

The K-member does add more vibration at idle, especially when it's cold. Within two weeks, you won't notice it anymore. My car idles at 1000 when cold for a few seconds and then it levels out at about 600.

Did you do the idle relearn when you loaded the tune?

I started up and let the car set at idle for 3 or 4 min. before I put in gear.i have heard of the idle relearn but don't know steps. please post up.

Idle relearn:

Clear the KAM from the SCT.

Pull the parking brake
Start car
let car idle to full temp and fans come on
when fans turn on, put AC to MAX and let it run for 2 minutes.
When 2 minutes is up, shut AC off and run for 2 minutes.

After that I usually shut the car off and wait a few seconds, then restart it. Should be good after that.
