Ignition Distributor Questions

93 Cobra -

Other than yanking the old out and throwing in the new, what do I do? I read the instructions which are vague regarding the timing and I tried a search but nothing. Tips and advice are very appreciated!!!

Make sure you got rotor pointing @ 12-o clock then swap, when you put it back in make sure rotor is pointing @ 12-o clock then snug & time using timing light w/spout out set it to 10-12 depending on what mods you have, etc then tighten down the bolt & put plug back in (spout).
