CAn anyone help with removing my ignition switch. I know that I need to push in some kind of pin, but cant find it. Can anyone help or have a pics of this?

disconnect the negative battery cable then disconnect the possitive battery cable and wait five minutes.turn the ignition lock cylinder to the run positon.remove the drivers side knee bolster.remove ignition switch and install new one making sure the new ignition switch is in the run position.when pulling old switch out the pin will be in the run position. NOTE:USE A MOTORCRAFT SWITCH ONLY
The little ball pin is underneath. You'll see a small hole with a shiny ball. Push in, and rotate the ignition switch (with the key in) until you feel the release.
Reverse of removal for install, but no need to push on the pin, it'll click it by itself.

not replacing the switch, just need to pull it out so I can swap out the column cover.
