i'm new and looking for ideas

whats up guys i just bought a 93 lightning and am looking for ideas of things to do. i have heard to turn the timing up to 14 degrees and that 5.0 engine parts are pretty much the same so i'm thinking e-cam. i welcome all ideas, criticism, etc. thanks

ecam won't work well with the stock computer.You'll need to make sure your block is roller ready anyways before swapping in a roller cam(a few of the 93 blocks were not).I'd start with traction bars they'll protect your driveline and get more power to the ground, a 2600-2800 stall converter, and exhaust.

where is the best place to buy parts for these trucks, i'm finding out that aftermarket parts are not so easy to find

where on the block is the casting number to check and see if its a roller block?

Just above the starter first 4 should be F4TE
