In regards to the skydiving thread, anybody went bungee jumping?

I did one where they hoist you up with a crane and drop you. It was cool on the way down, but coming back up was a bit rough on the stomach. I don't know that I'd do it again.

I went bungee jumping on my last cruise, they had it set up with a trampoline on the top deck. It was wild.

I was unimpresed. I thought it was going to be this supr crazy thing and it was a real let down. it was crazier doing cliff diving. next on my list is sky diving.

Yep, right after I broke the land speed record on my bike just prior to me breaking the world's bench press record I bungee jumped off a bridge from 1,000 feet in the air in Rio De-janeiro. As I fell to the ground from 1,00 feet up I recited a poem and redesigned the blower properties of the Whipple super charger to make it more efficient. I wasn't to impressed with jumping though.:bored:

I went back in the early 80's with one of the first crane's in So Cal. It was a rush back then and it's much safer now. Enjoy.
