I got my Cobra R hood today and tried to install it but I have a problem. I cannot get the hood to latch. The hood is all the way down on the car and It looks like the latch is too low, but you cannot raise the latch due to two pegs on the latch. Has any one had this problem and if so what can I do to fix the problem?

I read all the other post on the cobra R hood and the problems with the latch. But other than putting pins in the hood, what else was done to get the hood to close?
Wont that hold in alot more heat?
