Update so far. Got outside and re wired the gauge in with the same results of only reading 5psi. Put a mechanical gauge on and it’s reading the same so the aeroforce gauge is reading correctly, however the culprit is most likely the boost bypass valve after testing it. I’m calling vmp Monday, I have the low vacuum bypass valve on the car from them.

Are you saying the gauge shows 5psi at idle, or it only shows a max of 5psi when you get into boost?

Shows 5 psi on the gauge when I get on it. The car don’t feel like it makes 5psi. The mechanical gauges reads the same as well.

The boost bypass valve is no good. Ordering a new one now. Tested it earlier.

Have you tried adjusting the by-pass? The mounting tab has elongated slots and the valve needs to snap shut when there's an absence of vacuum to the actuator.

Yes, it doesn’t shut.

Try adjusting it first. If the by-pass valve can't shut it, make sure the valve inside the supercharger can be shut manually. It's a simple spring set up in the actuator that closes the valve and it's not exactly prone to failure.

We did try adjusting it and nothing happened

You need to make sure that butterfly valve in plenum area of the supercharger will actually close.

Update: bypass valve was toast. New ones installed, car makes boost again and the aeroforce gauge works properly !!
