You have that correct, but I am not talking about heat being carried away from the intercooler. I am talking about the fact that it will be in the heat exchanger for less time, and will not be able to transfer as much heat as it would if it were in the HE for even a split second longer.

some people use Meziere pumps. They are not made specifically for the cobra though, take some small fabrication.
