Tried the search feature to no avail. Here is my question. Currently I have a 01 Eaton Converted cobra with a gords ford heat exchanger with the twin spal fans. I currently have my intercooler pump to turn on through the fan relay. My heat exchanger is wired to go on whenever the car in on "run". I got to thinking when i was putting my motor in why do I want my pump to turn on whenever the fan comes on. Seems like I should wire it to my fans so either way the coolant is circulating and being cooled. I know some guys wire in a switch for when they are in the pits.

What are your guys thoughts?

Thanks!

IMHO the intercooler pump should be running when ever the car is. If you have control of when your pump comes on I wouldn't wait for a certain temp to turn it on. Keep that thing pumping as long as the car is on.
