So fellas i thought this might spark up some interest as it does in my head. So my friends im getting my car tuned this friday at a good reputable shop! cant wait to see what my car puts down but here is the spec sheet

98 mustang gt with a 97 cobra motor
Bored .020 over with 10.8:1 compression
forged mmr rotating assembly
4:30 gears
jlt cai
h pipe with borla catback

My buddy just got some cams installed in his 00 gt his mods are
3:73
comp cams 262
k and n cai
steeda pulleys
u75mm throttle body
Pypes x pipe
pypes catback

now for the last one its my buddys 03 mach 1
4:10 gears
cai
upr x pipe and slp catback

No susspension mods all on nitrogen dr
Who do you guys think will win. All three will be tuned._____________

i had pretty much the same mods on my 96 with std bore 10.5:1, and a few more boltons and was running a pretty consistent 13.0xx.

bald Mt E/T streets on some old aluminum jeep rims lol. Was shooting for 12's when i spun an axle tube. haven't been back to back it up yet. was flirting with 11's on nitrous too

No bad, after we run n/a gt is gonna spray 75 shot ill do a 125 shot and the mach is gonna do a 100 shot

Im gonna have to give the 98 the edge over the other cars, then the mach1, then the 00gt. I don't see cams and 3.73s putting a pi 2v ahead of the 4v cars with better heads, gears, and compression ratios.

Are 2000's even PI motors stock? I thought PI'S were heads cams and intakes?? And he only has cams? The Gt honestly shouldn't stand a chance if its a npi.

I retract my statement. Just did a little research. All 99-04s are pi. Now I know

4v's are gonna take the cake. But I think the Mach has it if all 3 of yall are decent drivers. Let us know!!

Those 2Vs can surprise you. I think the GT will be quickest, then the mach 1, then your car. Sorry lol, but based on previous experience that's what I think will happen. Let us know and get it on vid!

Edit: or maybe the mach will win actually. Hmm lol

I give to the 4v cobra, then mach 1, and last the 2v. I think it'll be close for all three but the 4v heads will end up breathing hard up top.

Well the 2v did 292whp. But its heavier then mine the mach is heaviest.

Gt/cobra all day def the Mach in close second 2v third. Had a buddy with an 04 gt bolt-ons (3:73's catback pulleys tune intake upper plenum tbody) and cams. I drove it and wasn't impressed at all. I think my cobra (mods in sig) would take it all day. Unless the 2v gets some gear there's no way he's gonna pull with the 4vs revving to 6800-7000 unless he's canned for higher revs
