Does anyone have experience either developing iPhone applications themselves or contracting the work out to someone?

I have an idea that I think would make a good application (don't ask) and I don't have the expertise to develop it myself. Is there anyone on here with the expertise to develop the application (I would partner up with you) or know of a reputable service to farm the work out?
