iPod radio install help!

Aarrgh! I am so frustrated right now! After searching the forums, I came across this link to connect the '04 factory radio to an iPod:

I thought I had found salvation - I've got an '04 with a satellite-ready radio - problem solved! Nope.

After shelling out the $70, and taking my dash apart I realize that I've got a 24-pin connector and an 8-pin connector in the back, not a 24/16. I've seen that other '04 owners have used this product, so I am now totally confused.

What the heck kind of radio do I have? Help!

I searched that thread before - what part of it are you referring to?

What I'm trying to find out is if anyone has experience with the Logjam adapter and if, for some reason, I have an older or different radio in my car?

Wish i could help out some more, but i have been sticking with the FM modulator thing and removing my antenna. I did use the holder and car kit listed in the above linked thread. I posted some pics on one thread.
