When installing the Billet flow brace will i need new fluid for the rear, if so what weight fluid? just wondering what i'll need since its on the way in the mail. thanks.

Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and re-seal the cover since they are prone to leak and BTW mine is leaking :bored:

I usually don't do things half-ass, but I'll admit to (twice) having done a reseal from the outside only

it's held for 3 years and a lot of abuse

when I did the brace, I put RTV under the bolt heads and then I smeared sealer over the joint (used brake cleaner first)

I had to redo it last year because it started dripping

this year, the diff gets pulled...

Try and get a C-clamp on that side of the diff. if you can, mine bubbled for a little bit which made me work faster.

I was looking at the write up on this the other night.. I would like to tray and tackle this myself come next year.

FYI Mine was leaking about a dime size spot if it sat for a week. I took it in under warranty a month ago and had it fixed. I darn near considered asking them if they would install a brace at the same time but didn't. *shrugs*
