They have to be better than 99% of the factory seats out there and definitely better than any Mustang seat.

Probably the reason they're a good price is the all-steel construction. They'd cost more (and weigh less) in fiberglass or carbon fiber. But if you're on a budget, they're a good place to start.

They are pretty light seats already.. I mean they are like 20lbs or something like that. That's pretty decent.

That is a good seat. It will be lighter than factory and hold you in place well.

The nice thing about a steel frame entry level seat is that it is very stiff. Some of the cheaper fiberglass seats will flex a bit.

The Corbeau Forza is decent as well and is $130 cheaper than the Monaco you are looking at. It can also be used with a 5 point harness. The Monaco is a more versatile seat (side and bottom mount options) and if you need the FIA cert go for it. If not, check out the Forza.

With the Corbeau (and probably the Monaco) you can get some steel stock and bolt it to any Fox body manual seat base, so don't waste money on buying a specific aftermarket seat base for your car.
