There is a guy in my area selling used block with about 90k on it for $40. It has some damage but it sounds like it's not too bad.

It's seldom a rod breaks and there is no other damage, at least to the crank and block. Sounds weird to me, not saying it isn't the case here just weird. The Expy block sound like a decent deal though. If you want to slowly start building up a engine for your L, this is a good place to start with the block... Stan
