Hi Guys,

Welp, all is well with the TT snake. Just turned 950miles on the new mill and did a compression test yesterday. Here are the resuls:

1. 185
2. 185
3. 182
4. 185
5. 180
6. 181
7. 178
8. 184

That's a worst case variation of less than 4%.

It wasn't looking good at first because the passenger side head gasket was leaking coolant into the cylinders. I took a chance, broke torque, and retorqued the HG and all is well now. Supposedly, this is normal when using cometics on a darton wet-sleeved motor.

I've been running a very conservative tune with only 10psi of boost and the car feels pretty strong. I'd venture to guess somewhere around 575rwhp-600rwhp. This weekend I'll be cranking up the boost to 15psi and then I'm going to do some serious datalogging and working on the street tune. I'm hoping to get to Performance Dyno in NH in the next couple of weeks for verification.

The only mods left to do are cooling mods:

- Permacool 8-pass competition oil cooler
- Evans water inlet
- Evans NPG+ waterless coolant (mandated by Darton for use with their sleeves)
- Evans high-flow waterpump and overdrive pulley
- Evans remote 180deg thermostat
- Remote oil filter adapter

These mods along with my Fluidyne radiator should keep the car nice and cool in the summer heat and under heavy loads.

That's all for now. I'll report later when I get some dyno numbers and eventually track times.
