JBA O/R X pipe and Borla S-Type catback?

A 13 GT with Borla S-Type Catback system would the JBA O/R X pipe work on this? would it leak? would it work if it was welded? i tried searching but couldnt find anything about this scenario. any help would be appreciated

the JBA OFF road X tapers down to 2.75 and the Borla cat back says its 2.75. im thinking it will work..
