JDM, Bassani, or summit

IM trying to figure out what will be the best x-pipe to go with for my friends 01 GT

The summit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=23390&view=1 says 12-25 hp increase but the JDM looks like it will flow better in the transition.

I did a search and couldnt find any hp increase #'s on the JDM or Bassani(since Bassani's site is down)

Also im pretty sure a chip isnt needed for the x-pipe but will it enhance it that much better?

if the car isnt modded to much he should go with a H pipe but if forced induction is on its way go with the X
i have a 2 1/2 H-pipe on my 89 LX with L/T and high flows and it made a big difference i know two different motors but can give you an idea

If he is NA then both will give him about the same gains and it will come down to a matter of what kind of sound he wants. But if he wants to go forced induction the x-pipe will benefit him more.
