Agreed, I don’t, but when out just cruising, it can do that low in 6th still.I still can not understand why, when, where, anybody would drive these cars under 2000rpm.......

It’s now a 9” rear and I kept debating and using calculators on 3.89 vs 4.11 then when I finally called Strange, US Gear had a new 4.0 ratio. You’ve got 4.10s right? 1500 is a little rough for me with 3.73s, need a couple hundred more rpms for good cruising.
I installed a low vacuum bypass as well. Idle vacuum is about 10inhg.
You cruising around in 6th, what speed?.Agreed, I don’t, but when out just cruising, it can do that low in 6th still.

Hi BJ, same as my tuner,Keep in mind that you not only have mass air transfer function in play but IAC, throttle, injector breakpoint, etc.
I do 90 percent of client Tuning on street/track.

Cruising to us is 4th at 2500 rpm....
Good move. BJ will take care of you. Thanks everyone for the feedback.
I had a chance to get the car out again this weekend. Looks like idle is around 950-1000 rather than the 850 I thought. Vacuum at idle is a pretty steady 15. As the car got warmer throughout the day I did see it get down to 14.
Regarding the driveability it seems to only happen when leaving from a light, but if I blip the throttle before leaving it seems to do okay. Cruising at a lower RPM's does okay too.
I was going to have a local shop check it but I'm pretty sure they only tune on the dyno. After the feedback here I decided to reach back out again to @VNMOUS1 to see if he can take a look at it.
You'll hit the JackPot will BJ........Thanks everyone for the feedback.

A large portion of the time, my pretty bad ass Shaker 500 system is turned off. There is few in the way of music (even the music I love and listen to) that can match how much audible joy my 5.4 V8 brings me.80mph is 2000rpm and my highway cruise.
I don’t do much highway though, so it’s usually 4/5th gear 55-60.
I love leaving it in 4th and hearing the motor, I almost never turn on the radio.
