jlt budget horsepower kit?

I know the true CAI is a pain to install, but the budget kit is just the maf adapter,air filter and heat shield. I'm figuring it should be pretty easy to install (I'm a novice with any type of mechanic work and trying to learn). What was the big PITA with the true CAI kit and does anybody have any experiences with this budget kit? Thanks in advance,

i got the rai, because it was cheaper,and the difference in hp wouldnt be noticable. maybe a couple hp difference.....
