I bought my car bone stock & one of the first mods I did was a JLT CAI. The small 4x6 air filter that goes in the fenderwell. JLT website says it can support up to 550-600rwhp.
Since then I have added a KB 2.2 pushing about 17psi & close to 600rwhp. Since these mods I have always wondered if that small filter is costing me some HP or if it would be worth the $$$ to upgrade to the Ram Air Intake. The High Boost with the 12" filter is out of the question, because I plan on installing an aftermarket K-Member when I do my headers.
Anybody have any opinions or experience on if it would be worth it to go with a different intake? Thanks!
