Results on a 2010 stock block having the original SC upgraded to a VMP Gen 2R along with some other top mounted mods. After 25K plus miles I have never had a single drop of oil accumulate in the drivers side separator....total waste of money. On the other hand the passenger side is emptied several times a year being a third to half full every time. If you have an older GT500 like mine, don't waste your money on the driver's side unit.

Had the same results on my 11 after 6 months, the filter only cost me $ 50.
Lost nothing as I was able to use that filter on my 14...... ( not a JLT filter )

JLT (now J&L Oil Separator Co) has long told customers that on a relatively stock-ish engine there is no need for a driver's side unit.

Cars that have more blow by can most certainly benefit. My car is a good example. The tolerances are looser and there is significant blow by.

So, this isn't a design problem, it's that you didn't need it.
