JLT vrs. Kenne Bell Cold air

I attached a picture of what i currently have, it was on the car when i bought it..
It has a JLT pipe between the throttle body and mass air, then a kenne bell from the mass air to the filter..

My question, would there be an benefit to switching to a full JLT cold air?
Its a 98 Cobra..

Pretty much every guy on here is going to tell you to upgrade.
Truth is, it MAY net you another 1-2hp.
I think it would be more for looks than anything.

getting rid of that slinky pipe would be a good idea, that's a lot of restriction/resistance for air to get through though, but badass is right, it won't be good for much HP

yea, the jlt will look much better.. After i recoupe from buying the car I'll probably end up changing it just for that..
