[QUOTE="Mach1USMC, post: 10477890, member: 42788"] Congrats- what MOS/Occfield are you going for? Your ht/wt def isn't an issue. You also have plenty of time to work on your PT. The program I laid out works every time. I've done it for myself and I've done it as a Plt Sgt. It works... the good thing is it doesn't take a long time to do. Maybe 45-75 min a day. Since you have so much time hit the pool. I'd see if you can get some simulated swimquals in. If you can get WSQ in Boot Camp that will carry you all the way through your first term. You won't have to qual again unless your MOS requires it. Boot camp is indeed mostly mental- the stronger you are physically the better you'll be able to focus mentally. If you can knock out the fitness side of it and stay motivated and focused you can come out a LCpl. That would be HUGE. Honor grad opens a lot of doors for you. You have the time to prepare- you may as well knock it out of the park!! Start working on your "knowledge"... ie your general orders, weapons specs, leadership traits, etc.... it can all be found online. If you need help getting pointed in the right direction let us know.
