Well I finished my install of the SC. I have only two questions though. One were to install the boost gauge pressure line, and when you turn your car off and your head is buy the supercharger do you hear an air leak like its depressurizing? Let me know
thanks.

From what I read that is normal (the air rushing out), have you driven it yet, is there a large difference?

Have Fun! Be Safe! SC Power!

Don't know about the JRSC but the one on my fathers SLK 230 which is a Eaton based one does that everytime you come to a dead stop and listen close. But still has the power and runs great so must be all good. Took it out 3 days ago to bring it in for his Summers while he was gone and heard it every stop. First was like him never noticed it before but then i noticed it just did it like it was a normal thing and the car was running great.

Congrats bro. I'm sure the nosie is normal. Make sure you tighten everything down after your first heat cycle. I"m sure you'll love the car with it's new power. E-

did the kit come with a boost gauge?( did not see one on the parts list but i just looked quick )
if not and you bought an aftermarket one you will prob. have too drill and tap a hole somewhere in your intake manifold to install the vaccum line that leads to the gauge.i have not installed this on my car and would have gone with the vortech unit instead so dont quote me on this.

as far as the noise goes... your car is now a pressureized system and will remain so until the source on the pressure stops then the air will "leak out" hence the noise you here. try in the future letting the car idle a couple of seconds before turning it off, and see if the noise is as loud.

thanks everyone I figured it out with your help. as far as the boost gauge I'm just going to "t" it off of the vac line that feeds the power card.
