I do feel very Blessed. Incredible wife who appreciates my “sickness” for cars. You're a lucky man, congratulations.
Fortunately, my wife loves the 350R more than the GT500, so when I’m in the market for a new GT500, maybe she’ll allow me to keep both. That is a few years in the future, so I hope Ford builds the GT500 for at least 4 years.I do feel very Blessed. Incredible wife who appreciates my “sickness” for cars.
After watching all the reviews on the car, I'm very interested. Started calling around and while not entirely surprised, the ADMs were nuts. One dealer claimed they sold one for a $200k markup LOL. I'm not opposed to paying ~$5k but anything beyond that and yeah, no. So sadly, I guess I'll be waiting a couple of years. Which is fine... Spyder is staying even w/ the GT500.
DCT + the power band make this car truly something special and significantly differentiates itself from anything else on the market (C8 is still great, but I prefer the Mustang look). From what everyone is saying, Ford ****ing NAILED this.
If you're interested the dealership I ordered from has a Performance Blue, Black stripe, tech pack , handling, carbon fiber dash, heated and cooled seats coming in? $5k over is what they're asking
@Snoopy49Update: Got my VIN yesterday. Build date scheduled for mid/late Sept. With the painted stripes they think i should have late Oct/early Nov. What is the magic trick to tracking your VIN in progress? Is there a site or do I need to go through my dealer?
