It's not too often you see a band that is better live than the cd. Well, Slayer fits that bill. I saw them 20 years ago if you can believe that, they were great back then. They look a little older but they absolutely kill it. Dave Lombardo is one of the best drummers on the planet.

Can't even tell you how many times i've seen those guys now... each time they rock it. Tom Araya said recently in an interview, he only wants to do one more album, then that's it... that's too bad.

Did they play Angel of Death. That's my favorite Slayer song. It kicks ass!

I was in row b which is real damn close. There was a huge a$$ tower of amps right next too my eardrum. I ended up with a guitar pick from Kerry King. For those that don't like Slayer you have to admit they are a great band live. That's all you can ask for. I yelled as loud as I could for them to play "reign in blood" and they played it. After that came angel of death. Not like they played it for me though. Marilyn Manson came on after Slayer. MM was good but I really went to the show to see Slayer.

The loudest concert I've been too was Slayer circa 1987. It was at Harpo's in Detroit. LOUD AS F&CK. It was like looking through the rear view mirror in the rig with a bad u-joint in the drive shaft. Vibration eyesight. That's loud right there.

I've seen Slayer countless times over the years. By far the best live band ever. Opening acts have a very hard time as Slayer fans are known to chant "SLAYER" over and over again throughout the opening set.

Here's some footage from an infamous show I attended in NYC at the old Felt Forum on the South of Heaven tour. Good times.

Im a huuuuuuuuuuge Slayer fan. Seen them way to many times to count.

They always put on a great show.

I still think its cool to see 13 year old girls singing along at their shows. It shows the youth still have a little anarchy left.

I first saw Slayer when they were touring for South of Heaven. Awesome show! General admission so I was right in front. So close I got to see all of Tom and Kerry's fret work. Angel of Death was the encore. Awesome band......

IDK what it is but i could never get into these guys.

I love all types of metal bands and i listen to pretty much everything but slayer just for some odd reason does not appeal to me.
