So im pretty set on getting the Mcleod RXT twin disk (1000 hp rated) clutch. Also installing a new flywheel. Just installed a VMP 2.3L on my 5.0 (said to make 600rwhp, dyno saturday)
What are y'all paying for install?! I had Ford quote me $3200!!?!? WTF. And another shop wants $1800- $600 being labor.
It says this is a 4-5 hour job. Am i being shafted or is this a decent deal?

I would say that seems pretty steep, I think JPC here in MD charges 100-110 an hour so 1800 even seems really high.

Longtubes or no? Anywhere from 4-8 hours labor and most shops are right around $100 an hour

So 600 would be right in the middle and not terrible. With long tubes it makes it harder unless the tranny can be dropped with them still in place which I doubt, but I'm not sure
